FREQUENTLY ASKED ?’S
Do I need therapy?
Sometimes support systems already in place aren’t enough to help us understand underlying reasons for relationship difficulties or emotions. Therapy can offer you tools to gain insight and to learn healthy ways to reach your goals.

What is play therapy?
Play therapy is a theoretical approach used by mental health professionals that allows children to express their thoughts and feelings using toys as words and play as the child’s language.

What is EMDR?
Previous trauma can have a devastating impact for many years of your life. EMDR is a psychotherapeutic approach that combines many different treatment approaches. EMDR can help one to overcome psychological stress in a short amount of time.

What do I expect when I come in?
Your initial session will consist of gathering information about your current symptoms and stressors and a history of your life. Following this, we will work together to develop a treatment plan based on your individual goals for therapy results.
